Position Objectives and Expectations:
1. Extract, format and deliver accurate, complete and relevant results from multiple databases to meet a wide variety of qualitative and quantitative information/data requests for US- and UK-based customers (bankers and consultants)
2. Interact directly both by telephone and email with US and UK customers to provide high level professional customer service
3. Learn and follow research process best practices for a broad range of research products, using analytical abilities and judgment to select most relevant research content for delivery to customer
4. Willing to problem-solve and "go the extra mile" when confronted with challenging situations such as inability to easily find information about a particular company or individual.
5. Perform both basic and complex tasks with a high degree of accuracy, consistency and in a timely manner. This will require the ability to meet productivity goals and to estimate workload and turnaround
6. Ability to work under time pressure and juggle priorities/ multi-task in quick work turnaround situations
7. Ability to communicate clearly in spoken English language and in writing, with good grammar and spelling

Previous Experience Requirements: for Senior Research Position
1. Applicable experience in financial firm or other similar business environment (not a pre-requisite)
2. Familiarity with the following databases is helpful but not required: Alacra, Bloomberg, Factiva, Factset, Hoover’s, ICC Juniper, LexisNexis, OneSource, Perfect Information, Shareworld, Thomson One Banker, Thomson Research, Venture Source.
