In this position, you will be supporting the HW/OS builds.

Qualifications
You should be a student currently pursuing an engineering degree with minimum knowledge of operating system skills in Linux*, Unix* and should be aware of Shell* and scripting skills. Additional qualifications include:
- Ability to develop, integrate, and maintain new platforms and application systems to support Intel's business needs, and meet IT standards and computing environment requirements
- Understanding of computer systems including operating systems (Red Hat, Suse, windows), applications, and network connectivity, and how given solutions will affect a system as a whole
- Understand various client and/or server architectures, operating system build technologies, system patching, system auditing; as well as server build processes
- Ability to compile system requirements from their customer and key stakeholders, investigate multiple solutions, evaluate all available technologies, and evaluate reusability of existing configurations and other reusable assets, in accordance with established standards
- Ability to monitor and evaluate the security of systems
- Ability to provide second and/or third level support on system related issues (for example, hardware, operating systems, services, and others) to operational personnel, and conduct crash recovery procedures, in addition to carrying out routine maintenance
- Troubleshooting skills to identify root causes and resolve problems related to system and application functionality
